Hillary Clinton prevailed victorious in 3 of the 4 primaries held yesterday. Texas, Ohio, and Rhode Island all went to Clinton, meanwhile Obama took only Vermont. The New York Times reports that Hillary hinted in her speech today of the possibility of a shared ticket with Barack. Obama still leads in the delegate count but Hillary gained the lead in the superdelegate race. The Democrats need the race to be decided prior to the convention in Denver or all chaos will erupt, leading to yet another split in the Democratic party. What esle is new? The party cannot allow the superdelegates to decide who will represent the Democratic Party in the 2008 presidential race when the public has already decided for themselves. The primary in Pennsylvania is now the new battlegrounds that may decide the outcome.
